How do ModelCoach products work?

We believe repetition of video footage is one of the best ways to prepare a model for his/her next professional photo shoot. By looking in on an actual photo shoot, you will benefit from the exact same information that a professional model gets, but at a fraction of the cost of a paid shoot. We want to bring the professional photo shoot experience to you so you can gain the same valuable information and demonstration tips from experienced professionals within the modeling industry. Whether you learn better through watching (visual) or by listening to instruction (auditory) this product can assist you. We have included both methods for each persons learning type.

Why can’t I just look at pictures from a magazine and practice that way?

Our intention for our ModelCoach products are for the consumer to get the most realistic look at the professional fashion photo shoot experience. By watching the shoot live you are able to see a model move from one movement to the next with the added benefit of a fashion photographer’s indispensable instruction. There is nothing else out there that we have found (except an actual photo shoot where you are a participating model) that can give you that. We do like the idea of practicing what you view in our videos either in the mirror or in whichever way you feel most comfortable.

What makes ModelCoach an authority on photo shoot modeling?

Having had a modeling background we know what models are looking for to improve themselves in their careers. The bottom line is we want to be hired for jobs. We need to know what clients are looking for in a model to increase our chances at landing those jobs. Knowing what clients need in a model will give you an edge by increasing your expertise and your sense of confidence.

When creating the ModelCoach products, we made sure we assembled a professional team to be the authority on photo shoots so all bases was covered. We have fashion professionals to give their time and knowledge so that they can show you and inform you themselves, what you need to know.

Is there anything else you suggest that a model should keep in mind when modeling?

The most important suggestion we can make to all models is that your success is entirely in your hands. That means doing what you need to, to improve your skills and doing it with an attitude of belief in yourself. The models we see succeed the most are:

1. The ones who are determined to succeed and make it happen

2. The ones who had never considered becoming a model and who were generally the ones discovered.

In both cases there is one thing in common, there is almost no feeling within them of doubt. Your attitude, mood and what you believe about yourself will show up in every photo and it will come across to every client. The model who books (or gets hired for) the job is the one with the most belief in herself (or less doubt about herself).

	Why is there not a guarantee with your products?
	There is not a guarantee, for the same reason that top modeling agencies do not have guarantees for models (after signing them to the agency). We can provide you with all the information, suggestions and assistance we have to give but it is up to you with what you do with it. You should be wary of anyone who is able to give you a guarantee in the modeling profession – it simply cannot be done.

There are other websites that show models in photo shoots, why should I spend money on this product?

Before creating our products we too did our research with other (online) footage of fashion photo shoots. We did not find any that compares to the quality of information that ModelCoach is providing. In the ones we found, the focus was not on teaching but strictly entertaining. Usually, you would see a photo shoot where there was music overlapping the photographer’s instruction or the photographer was completely omitted from the scene. We also found that the model’s shoot was so edited you couldn’t follow her movements from one to the next. And none of the ones found specialized in what the model is looking for.

	I am not an aspiring model any longer I am a working model how can I get footage that will help me specifically at my modeling level?
	Photoshoot Basics is the first in many videos. We believed that by having our premier video be one that focused on the foundation for fashion modeling it would be the most appropriate and beneficial way to start our series. However, whether you are a male or female model, aspiring or professional, catalogue, editorial or runway there will be something just for you.

Who are your products for?

Anyone interested in the modeling / fashion industry can enjoy our products. We created ModelCoach specifically to address and assist the fashion model in her photo shoot concerns however we can understand how photographers, professionals within the fashion and modeling industry, those of you wanting to become models and of course those who just love the world of modeling can enjoy and even benefit from our products.

	I want information on other parts of the modeling industry as well. Are you the right website to address those questions?
	ModelCoach believes in focusing on what we know best – assisting models when it comes to getting in front of the camera for photo shoots (and runway coming soon). We believe there are excellent resources out there already that can answer your questions best so we will leave it up to them to answer your inquiries related to other parts of the industry.

	There are other model related products out there for a considerably higher cost. Why are you offering your products at such a low price?
	We understand that all kinds of people, from all age ranges to economical backgrounds are going to relate to our products and so we have considered that in our pricing. We think information and opportunity for improvement should be affordable to all.
